Description

Support Production Planning function with kitting and material procurement activities required to enable efficient delivery of both mechanical and electronic services. Communicate daily with the Production Planning staff regarding inventory and delivery status. Inventory control including monitoring of shelf life consumables and verification of parts kits entering Electronics Assembly to identify shortages.

Primary point of contact for parts kits, components and materials incoming to Electronics Assembly. Ordering components, parts and EDF-managed consumable materials, including pickup and delivery. Review incoming engineering documentation to identify parts needing fabrication by various EDF functions. Utilize EDF Electronic Work Request System to notify respective areas.


Requirements

Required: High School degree or equivalent. Experience with technical fabrication/assembly drawings and related documentation. Demonstrated ability to interface in a positive and professional manner with wide range of customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
Must be detailed oriented and highly accurate. Proficient with MS Office, Internet Explorer, PC tools and interacting with computer-based data systems. Proven ability to work in a team environment.

Desired: Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, workflows, material ordering and inventory control. Knowledge of ISO-9001 and AS9100 Quality Standards. Experience with MRP work planning and tracking software.
