The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety management for the Georgia-Pacific Wood Products' Cleveland, TX plywood facility. Responsibilities include OSHA compliance and record keeping, maintaining a working knowledge of health and safety standards, corporate policies and procedures and best practices, accident investigation and reporting, and health and safety training. Other responsibilities include building employee involvement in health and safety, developing effective safety committees, and communications with corporate safety and health personnel.
KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - ABILITIES Strong planning and organizational skills are required. Successful candidate must possess strong communications skills in the areas of group presentations, individual interactions and written documentation. Ability to Speak and write Spanish preferred.
