Bilingual Internal Communications Specialist - Dalton, Georgia
Mohawk Industries, the world's largest flooring manufacturer, seeks a talented bilingual communications professional to help develop and deliver the company's key messages to its many employees. The position will work from Dalton, Georgia.
The internal communication specialist crafts written material, which may be used as the final product, as with internal memos, or as a source for printed material, e.g., brochures or posters, or as scripts for audio or video presentations. The position may also provide direct communication to members of management and/or line employees through informal speaking opportunities or formal presentations accompanied via PowerPoint. Additional duties include researching assigned subjects through a process of interviews and analysis and ensuring that the information is consistent with the company's policies and appropriate for its culture.

Requirements |
The ideal candidate has the ability to craft clear, concise material in both English and Spanish and translate existing English material to Spanish, as well. Writing projects often deal with complex information and are often under deadline pressure. Candidates should be able to write in a variety of tones, from formal to conversational, and for delivery via a variety of formats. A minimum of 3 years of experience in journalism, corporate communications, public relations or similar field is required. Knowledge of the flooring industry is a major plus, but all candidates should possess knowledge of business fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have professional caliber speaking and presentation skills in both Spanish and English. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Lotus Notes or similar e-mail software and must be able to effectively use the Internet as a research tool.
