Role of the Maintenance Unit Supervisor:
Provide day-to-day floor leadership in the Maintenance areas and set an
impeccable example in all aspects of the job. Set, communicate, and
implement priorities in line with the production.
Business Plan:
*Create and maintain a safe work place that causes no harm to the
environment.
*Manage assets efficiently and cost effectively, including proper
equipment operation and equipment availability at world class level.
*Ensure the long term viability of existing equipment.
*Maintain a technically-capable maintenance workforce that values
diversity and is customer-oriented, responsive and flexible.
*Apply ABS concepts and ensure the critical maintenance processes are
integrated into day-to-day department operations.
Position Responsibilities:
* Manage, lead, and be accountable for crew EHS performance and practices.
* Rotating shift supervision of Maintenance craftspeople in an area or as
vacation relief.
* Planning, managing, and executing repair and maintenance plans.
* Working with production customers and coordinating maintenance efforts
between departments.
* Demonstrating a strong desire to achieve high ratings in EHS, recovery,
cost savings, diversity, and quality.
* Exhibiting and promoting leadership and ownership in the department.
